THE BADDIES AND ROYAL AFTERNOON TEA
In celebration of Kids Week and Afternoon Tea Week, The Rubens at the Palace is delighted to offer guests a unique experience for all the family to enjoy this summer.
The five-star Rubens at the Palace, situated opposite the Royal Mews and just 15 minutes from Cadogan Hall, is welcoming guests for pre- or post-show afternoon tea served daily.
Children can enjoy the hotel’s renowned ‘Little Prince & Princess Afternoon Tea’ - featuring imaginative twists on British favourites like Nutella, jam, peanut butter, or cheese and ham sandwiches, along with scones, pastries, and a milkshake or hot chocolate.
As a special treat for Baddies attendees, little ones receive a branded macaron and themed entertainment goodies, while adults unwind with the Royal Afternoon Tea.

Theatre-goers also enjoy 15% off at Rubens at the Palace when dining on the same day as the performance.

The Baddies: Cadogan Hall. SW1X 9DQ
The Baddies love being bad. They roar, spook and cast spells to try and scare a little girl… but will they succeed? Or perhaps the girl is braver than they think…
With songs by Joe Stilgoe (Zog and Zog and the Flying Doctors), The Baddies is a wickedly hilarious adaptation by Freckle Productions (Zog, Stick Man, Tiddler & Other Terrific Tales) of Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler’s smash-hit story.
Performance times: 10.30 am, 1 pm, or 3.30 pm
Running time: 60 minutes
Tickets from £19.50 - available to book here: https://cadoganhall.com/whats-on/the-baddies-2025/

I had the most amazing afternoon tea on my birthday at the Reubens, we were attentively served by Carlotta, Ellie (she was Irish) and Trina. The venue, and the food were amazing. The thoughtful additional touch of a cake for my birthday was amazing and I am very grateful. We had cocktails and the Queens swan is a must if you like a sweet drink- it was also beautifully presented.
